“Take care of my heart shaped balloon won’t you?” 4 hours, Photoshop CS5. Ahhh it’s late and I have work tomorrow BUT it’s officially valentine’s day SO have some sentimental artwork. I drew this while worrying about my special someone far away, and all this love business. It’s tough but he is most definitely worth it. Also because my brain was all loose and worried for some reason my artwork loosened up too XD Ah, I dunno. Just have a good valentine’s day everyone, I’m off to bed… I have a workshop I need sleep for tomorrow =_= Haaaah.

We got the photos back from the Japanese embassy this week. Check us out in all our third place gloryyyy~!

Thanks again to the Japanese embassy for running the Manga Jiman competition, and for everyone who cheered us on. It was a fantastic event. WE DID IT

“Shear Brilliance”, a comic about a fabulous hairdresser that I created in collaboration with Dean McKnight, has placed in the Manga Jiman 2011 competition! We’re not sure what place, but we’re in the top ten! EEK!

Many congratulations as well to the other winners, many of whom I know! Lorenzo Fruzza placed just above me last year, and Gillian Ha, Rebecca and Sarah Burgess are some good friends of mine ^o^ Extra well done to all of them.
